Shot Standard Timer is a shot-timing app for competitive and recreational shooting practice. This policy explains what data the app uses and what happens to it.
Microphone
Shot Standard Timer uses your device's microphone for one purpose only: detecting the sound of gunshots so it can time your shots. All audio processing happens on your device, in real time. Audio is analyzed in memory and immediately discarded - it is not recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere by release versions of the app.
Data the app stores
Your shot times, drill results, and settings are stored locally on your device only. They are not uploaded to us or to any third party. Deleting the app deletes this data. Pro users can export their saved history as a CSV file and share it using their device's own share sheet (e.g. to email or save it themselves) - this is a manual, user-initiated action; the app never sends this data anywhere on its own.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details. Purchase entitlements are verified through Google Play Billing.
Data we collect
We do not collect, sell, or share any personal data. The app contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking. Shot Standard Timer is intended for adults engaged in lawful shooting sports and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
